These terms cover your use of the Kreedz.bg website and the game servers we run. By using the site or playing on our servers you agree to them. If you do not agree, please do not use the site or the servers.
1. Who we are
Kreedz.bg is a community project run by volunteers for players of Counter-Strike 1.6 kreedz and climb. We are not affiliated with Valve Corporation. Counter-Strike is a trademark of Valve Corporation.
2. Your account
You sign in through Steam. We never ask for or store a password. When you sign in we keep your SteamID, your Steam display name and your avatar, so we can show who you are on the site and attach your records to your profile.
You are responsible for what happens under your account. Do not share access to it and do not sign in on behalf of anybody else. If you lose access to your Steam account, you lose access to the profile attached to it.
3. How to behave
Keep it civil. None of the following is allowed, on the site or on the servers:
- Harassment, threats, hate speech or personal attacks.
- Spam, advertising, or repeatedly posting off topic.
- Pretending to be another player, a member of our team, or anybody else.
- Sharing private information about another person without their consent.
- Anything illegal under Bulgarian or European Union law.
4. Fair play
Cheats, scripts, macros and any external tool that gives you an advantage are banned. That includes bunnyhop scripts, strafe helpers, and modified game files that change how movement works. Abusing a bug in a map or on a server to set a time counts as cheating as well. If you find a bug, report it rather than using it.
We review demos and we keep server logs. Where we find that a time was set with help from any of the above, the record is removed and the account may be banned.
5. Demos you upload
Only upload demos of your own runs. When you upload one you confirm that the run is yours, and you give us permission to store it, publish it on the site, and let other players watch and download it. The run stays yours.
Every upload is reviewed before it appears. We may reject or remove any demo, including any we are unable to verify.
6. Records, rankings and stats
Records and rankings come from our game servers and are shown as accurately as we can manage, but they are not guaranteed to be free of errors. We may correct, recalculate or reset them, for example after a map change, a server fault, or a cheating investigation. A record on this site is not a prize and has no cash value.
7. Bans
We may restrict or remove your access to the servers, the site, or both, if you break these terms. Bans are issued at the discretion of our team. Our ban list is public so that enforcement can be seen and questioned. If you believe a ban is a mistake, talk to us on Discord and we will look into it.
8. VIP and donations
VIP is a way to help cover the running costs of the servers and the site. In return you get the perks listed on the VIP page. Payments are voluntary support rather than the purchase of a product, and they are not refundable. We may change which perks are offered, and we may withdraw VIP without a refund from anyone banned for breaking these terms. If a server or the site shuts down, we cannot guarantee that remaining VIP time is honoured.
9. Content on the site
Comments, demos and anything else you post remain yours, but by posting you allow us to display them here. We may edit or delete anything posted, including comments that break section 3.
The site design, the Kreedz.bg name and logo, and the text we write belong to us. Please ask before reusing them. Player names, avatars and other Steam data belong to their owners.
10. Your data
We hold the Steam details described in section 2, whatever you post, and technical records such as server logs that we need in order to run the servers and enforce bans. We do not sell your data. If you want to know what we hold about you, or you want your account and posts deleted, ask us on Discord and we will take care of it.
11. Availability
This is a community project run in our spare time, and it is provided as it stands. We cannot promise that the site or the servers will always be online, that data will never be lost, or that everything will work as intended. We are not liable for any loss arising from your use of the site or the servers.
12. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms as the community grows. The version on this page is always the current one. Where a change is significant we will announce it in the news section.
