🔹 Core Concepts
- 10aa (10 Air Acceleration): Default air acceleration in CS 1.6.
- 100aa (100 Air Acceleration): Easier air acceleration. Allows more air control and gives fewer points.
- GA 5 (Ground Acceleration 5): Default ground acceleration in CS 1.6. It’s the standard and does not provide bonus points.
- GA 4.5 (Ground Acceleration 4.5): Harder ground acceleration that gives a ×4.5 points multiplier. These records are stored in a separate category.
Note: These settings can be changed by using the command /ga in-game.
🔹 How Points Are Calculated
Each player’s record earns points based on the movement settings used (10aa, 100aa, GA), the map’s difficulty, and its length. Harder records give more points.
Example:
- Player gets 300 points for a 10aa run on a Hard map
- A 100aa record on the same map will get 75 points (25% of 300)
🔹 Noob Records
Records that use checkpoints (Noob Records) reward 50% of the points compared to Pro Records (no checkpoints).
Example:
- If a Pro record gives 300 points, a Noob record with checkpoints will give 150 points.
🔹 Difficulty Multipliers (for 100aa Records)
100aa records are easier, so they only earn a percentage of the 10aa score depending on map difficulty:
Difficulty | % of Pro Points |
---|---|
Easy | 20% |
Easy-Average | 20% |
Average | 20% |
Average-Hard | 25% |
Hard | 25% |
Hard-Extreme | 50% |
Extreme | 60% |
Extreme-Death | 80% |
Death | 85% |
🔹 Map Length Multipliers
Longer maps offer more points based on these multipliers:
- Very Short / Short: ×1
- Middle: ×2
- Long: ×3
- Very Long: ×4
🔹 GA 4.5 Bonus Multiplier
If a player completes the map using GA 4.5 (harder ground acceleration), the run receives a ×4.5 multiplier of the equivalent 10aa GA 5 score. These records are handled in a separate category and do not affect normal scoring.
- Example: If a 10aa GA 5 run is worth 300 points (example only), then a GA 4.5 run will get 300 × 4.5 = 1350 points
Note: GA 4.5 only grants points if:
- Map is of difficulty Hard or above.
- Map is with type Climb or Mix.
🧠Tips
-
If you first set a record using 100aa and later beat it with 10aa, both runs are combined up to the Pro point cap.
Example: You earn 60 points from a 100aa record. Later, you earn 240 more with a 10aa record. Your total becomes 300 points (capped). - The system rewards harder movement styles and higher map difficulty. Easier settings give less, regardless of time.
